A perfect shawl knit primarily in garter garter stitch, Riveraine is light, airy, and perfect for a temperate climate. It is light enough to be worn in Spring and Autumn around the shoulders and long enough to become a snuggly cowl wrapped around the neck in Winter. It’s elegance and texture make it a go-to accessory for day-to-evening wear for any body type and/or size.

Finished Measurements:
Approximately 55 inches (139.7 cm) by 16 inches (40.64 cm), blocked. This is not a gauge-dependent pattern.

Materials:
The pattern requires 1 skeins of Rhapsody by Cedar Hill Farm Company; (Shown here in the Oh L'Amour colorway). The pattern includes instructions for increasing the width/depth of the shawl; however, an additional skein of yarn will be required to knit a larger version of the pattern.

Needles & Notions: US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles (24 to 32 inch); yarn needle.

Gauge: 19 stitches by 32 rows (garter stitch, blocked) in 4 inches (10 cm).

Construction Notes:
Riveraine is a crescent shawl knit garter stitch. The lace edging is a continuation of the crescent shawl.
