If you are looking for a sock pattern that is perfect for Indie dyed yarn, this is it!
This top-down pattern is written for use with DPNs, independent circular needles, and 2-at-a-time Magic Loop methods. Individual instructions for each method are included in the pattern directions.
The nature of the Ripple Socks pattern is such that it is a bit stretchy. Although it is written for two sizes, the actual circumference is variable between 7 and 10 inches.
Now you have no excuse to knit something other than a vanilla sock.
Materials:
Yarn: Cedar Hill Farm Company Journey (100% Superwash Merino 4-ply; 438 yds. / 100g; one skein); shown here in Ellis Island colorway.
Needles: Circ. US #1 (2.25mm) needles or DPNs; additional needles for heels, optional.
Notions: locking stitch marker; yarn needle; waste yarn.
Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rows per inch in Ripple pattern stitch (unblocked)
Sizing: Medium [7” - 8” (17.75 - 20.3 cm) circumference]; Large [9” - 10” (23 - 25.5 cm) circumference]
