Brickworks Socks -- Knitting Patterns -- PDF Download

If you are looking for a sock pattern that is perfect for Indie dyed yarn, this is it!

This top-down ankle sock pattern is written for use with circular needles, but can be worked with DPNs or individual circular needles. 9-inch circulars are not recommended for this pattern. Individual instructions for each method are included in the pattern directions with additional instructions for a taller leg.

The nature of the Brickworks Socks pattern is such that it is a bit elastic; however, it is important that you choose the size closest to the natural circumference of the foot because the sock is close-fitting once it is on the foot. 

Now you have no excuse to knit something other than a vanilla sock.

ERRATA: The mosaic pattern should NOT contain rows 10 & 11. If your pattern does contain these, and you have not received an updated pattern version by email, please email us at cedarhillyarns@gmx.com.

Materials

Yarn: Cedar Hill Farm CompanyRocket Sock(75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon; 400 yds./100g).

Sizes S & M:25 g of contrasting color (CC); 20 g of main color (MC).

Sizes L & XL:30 g of contrasting color (CC); 25 g of main color (MC).

Needles:US 1 circular (9- or 24-inch) circular needle

Notions:Yarn needle, waste yarn.

Gauge: 10 stitches by 9 rows equals 1” (2.5 cm) in mosaic pattern stitch

Sizing:Small(6.5 to 8” or 16.5 to 20.3 cm foot circumference); Medium(7.5 to 9” or 19 to 23 cm foot circumference); Large(8.5 to 10” or 20.3 to 25.4 cm foot circumference); Extra-Large(9.5 to 11” or 24 to 28 cm circumference).
